This 14-day adventure blends northern Tanzania’s most iconic landscapes and wildlife with a cultural and coastal finale in Zanzibar. Begin in Arusha, exploring lush forests and volcanic views in Arusha National Park, then venture to Tarangire and Lake Manyara for immersive game drives. Discover the stark beauty of Lake Natron and its flamingo-lined shores before heading into the legendary Serengeti, split between the north (for river crossings and migration herds) and central plains. After exploring the Ngorongoro Crater, fly to Zanzibar, unwinding in historic Stone Town and the white-sand beaches of Nungwi.
Day by day
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet your safari guide and transfer to your lodge in Arusha for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Arusha National Park
Enjoy a full-day visit to Arusha National Park. Take a scenic game drive and a walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger. Expect giraffes, monkeys, buffalo, and views of Mount Meru.

Day 3: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Drive to Tarangire, known for its baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a game drive along the Tarangire River. Optional Maasai boma visit en route.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park
Short drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Explore its diverse ecosystems: forest, lake, and escarpment. Look out for tree-climbing lions, hippos, and flamingos. Optional cycling or village tour in Mto wa Mbu.

Day 5: Manyara – Lake Natron
Travel off-the-beaten-path to Lake Natron, passing dramatic escarpments and remote Maasai villages. Sunset walk to the lake to see thousands of lesser flamingos.

Day 6: Waterfall Hike & Cultural Visit
Hike to the Ngare Sero Waterfalls, cooling off in natural pools. Later, visit a Maasai boma to learn about their traditions, livestock culture, and crafts.

Day 7: Natron – Northern Serengeti (Kogatende)
Journey through the northern corridor into Kogatende, arriving in time for a game drive. Look for wildebeest crossings at the Mara River and big predators.

Day 8: Full Day – Northern Serengeti
Spend the day following the Great Migration, or tracking lions, cheetahs, and elephants. Flexibility in game drive timing for best sightings.

Day 9: Northern – Central Serengeti
Drive south into Central Serengeti, with game viewing en route. Explore Seronera Valley, famous for resident big cats, especially leopards and lions.

Day 10: Full Day in Central Serengeti
Continue wildlife exploration with morning and afternoon game drives. Optional hot air balloon safari for a bird’s-eye view of the plains.

Day 11: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Highlands
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive as you exit the Serengeti. Arrive in the Ngorongoro Highlands in the afternoon.

Day 12: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Fly to Zanzibar (Stone Town)
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari in the world’s largest intact caldera. After lunch, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. Arrive and transfer to Stone Town.

Day 13: Stone Town – Nungwi Beach
Explore Stone Town with a guided historical walking tour, then transfer to Nungwi on the northern coast, known for its white sand and clear waters.

Day 14: Zanzibar – Beach & Departure
