This immersive 10-day safari captures the full diversity of Northern Tanzania’s landscapes and cultures. Begin in the legendary Serengeti, with two nights in both Central and Kogatende for a chance to witness the Great Migration or resident wildlife. Continue to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, then dive into authentic cultural encounters with the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes in Lake Eyasi. Afterward, enjoy a relaxing stay in Mto wa Mbu or Lake Manyara, then conclude in the majestic Tarangire National Park, home to elephants and ancient baobabs. This itinerary blends safari icons, remote tribes, and real Tanzanian flavor.

Day by day

Day 1: Nairobi

Welcome!! Woodley Tours Representatives will warmly meet you upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport then transfer to your hotel for check in. Rest of the day is spent at leisure with overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi-Samburu Game Reserve

After breakfast, depart for Samburu National Reserve, located in the northern part of Kenya. Enjoy the scenic drive through the beautiful countryside as you head toward this unique semi-arid region, famous for its “Samburu Special Five” — the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. Upon arrival, check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, set out for an exciting game drive in search of the region’s distinctive wildlife species and the stunning landscapes along the Ewaso Nyiro River. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay

Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Samburu National Reserve, exploring more of its striking landscapes and diverse wildlife. Keep an eye out for elephants along the Ewaso Nyiro River and the rare Samburu Special Five species. Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation by the pool or terrace. In the afternoon, you may choose to visit a Samburu cultural village (optional activity) to learn about the rich traditions and lifestyle of the Samburu people. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Samburu Game Reserve- Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast we depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with a brief stop at the Thompson’s Falls for a breath- Our guide driver will pick you from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru We arrive at the lodge to a very warm welcome, check-in then lunch. This afternoon we depart on a game viewing drive. The park is one of the best game viewing parks with various animal species including prides of lion, Cape buffalo, waterbuck, warthog, the endangered Rothschild giraffe, black & white Rhino, Burchell’s zebra, impalas, and the elusive leopard among many others. Over 300 bird species have been recorded here too. Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the best places to see the endangered
black and white Rhino. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park-Maasai Mara Game Reserve

A hearty early morning breakfast then drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. Arrive at the lodge to a very warm welcome and in good time for lunch. This afternoon is the moment we have been longing for – we depart on an exciting game viewing drive. The rolling plains and grasslands stretching far into the horizons as far as the eye can see is home to the black-manned lion, the savannah elephant, the Cape buffalo, wildebeest, the elusive leopard, cheetah, the spotted & stripped hyena, rhino, topi, Burchell’s zebra, the Masai giraffe among many others.
The Mara game reserve is one that can never disappoint. One is spoilt by the variety of bird and wildlife species in this game reserve. For a long time, Masai Mara Game Reserve has stubbed her authority as the ‘granary’ of wildlife in Kenya. We return back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Full Day in Maasai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast at your lodge or camp, set out for an unforgettable full-day game drive in reserve with a packed picnic lunch in hand, you’ll spend the day exploring the vast savannahs, acacia-dotted plains, and winding rivers of this iconic wildlife haven. Be on the look-out for the big five that Masai Mara is famous for. ion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino and other animals. Stop at a scenic spot within the park to enjoy your picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness, surrounded by nature. After lunch, continue with the game drive, exploring new areas of the park and enjoying more encounters with the abundant wildlife. As the sun begins to set, head back to your lodge or camp, arriving in time to freshen up before dinner and overnight stay.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Balloon Safari over the Mara plains followed by a champagne breakfast or visit a traditional Masai Manyatta (off the beaten track) and experience the culture of this world-famous community. The Masai still live as they did for centuries.

Day 7: Masai Mara Game Reserve-Lake Naivasha

After breakfast at your lodge or camp, your driver-guide will pick you and drive you to Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, check in to Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge. Then enjoy lunch at the lodge. Afternoon go for a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, exploring its peaceful waters, birdlife and scenic views. After the boat ride, you can opt to walk on Crescent Island, where giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and other non-predatory wildlife roam freely. Evening return to the lodge to relax with dinner and an overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge

Day 8: Lake Naivasha -Amboseli National Park

After breakfast you will you will embark on a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, known for its breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and abundant wildlife. On arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch, followed by some time to relax and unwind. In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive, exploring the vast plains well-known for its impressive herds of elephants and spotting elephants, lions, cheetahs, and other wildlife against the iconic backdrop of Kilimanjaro., you might get a chance to spot the large hers of elephants. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight. Return to the Hotel for overnight.

Day 9: Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart from your lodge for a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park, exploring its open plains and swamps teeming with wildlife. Enjoy close encounters with large herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, and prides of lions against the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views, enjoy a packed picnic lunch in the wild, and continue your afternoon drive as animals gather around waterholes. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Amboseli National Park -Nairobi

After a relaxing morning, enjoy a sumptuous breakfast as you take in the final views of the bush and depart from the lodge and begin your journey back to Nairobi, bringing with you a collection of incredible photographs and memories that capture the spirit of your safari experience. On arrival in Nairobi, your driver-guide will take you for a lunch at the carnivore restaurant giving you a chance to reflect on the highlights of your trip. After lunch, you’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in time for your flight back home
